Pádraig Seoighe R.I.P.
A gust of wind came last weekend and snatched with it one of the hookers' great boatmen, Patrick John William Seoighe. Patrick was one of the noblest people to meet on a pier or at sea, gentle, kind and always there to support when needed. Not only did he appear on the Volunteer 's stick, but he was a constant supporter of his half - brothers, in fact Patrick was once a talented Chairman of the Society, and he will be greatly missed. We extend our condolences to his wife Cáit, his children Róisín and Colm, and to his sisters Mary, Bridie, Winifred, Peggy, Ann and his brother Joe. That it was fair and that it was now launched among the best boatmen and friends who had gone before.
